No account is required. Your streak, best score, and play history are saved automatically in your browser’s local storage. This data stays on your device — nothing is sent to any server. The downside is that if you clear your browser data or switch devices, your streak will reset.

Yes — everyone playing on the same calendar day gets the exact same 10 questions in the same order. Questions are generated using a date-based seed so the daily challenge is identical and consistent for all players worldwide on the same day. This makes it perfect for comparing scores with friends and family.

10 questions per daily challenge — 4 easy, 4 medium, and 2 hard. The mix is designed to be approachable but still challenging enough to keep it interesting. Most players complete the daily challenge in 2–5 minutes.

Score 7 out of 10 or better to record a successful day and extend your streak. Scoring 6 or below, or missing a day entirely, resets your streak to zero. The 7/10 threshold is intentionally achievable — it rewards consistent practice without demanding perfection.

The official daily challenge can only affect your score and streak once per day — your first attempt is the one that counts. However you can replay the daily challenge as an unranked session, and Practice Mode gives you unlimited additional rounds at any difficulty level.

Questions are drawn from 10 categories: quick addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, fractions, money math, time math, number patterns, and word problems. Each daily challenge contains a balanced mix across these categories at three difficulty levels.

Yes — after every question, whether you answer correctly or not, a step-by-step explanation is shown. This is one of the most valuable parts of the daily challenge. Understanding why an answer is correct — and learning the mental math technique behind it — is how you actually improve over time.

Practice mode gives you unlimited additional 10-question sessions at your chosen difficulty level — Easy, Medium, Hard, or Mixed. Practice questions are randomly drawn from our question bank each session. Practice sessions do not affect your daily streak or score.
